    The boarhound, also known as the Great Dane, is a large breed of dog used historically for hunting wild boars. Rubeus Hagrid's pet, Fang, was a boarhound, described as "enormous" and "black". However, in the Harry Potter films, Fang is portrayed by a Neapolitan Mastiff, not by a boarhound. P.S. The boarhound is the bigger one in the first photo. I always thought that the photos of giant dogs are fake but they're not, at least not all of them))) 😂

Fang rested his head on Harry’s knee and drooled all over his robes.

'Three boys were playing marbles.' 4 plural Informal A way of referring to somebody's intelligence or mental ability. 'He's losing his marbles' (= he's not behaving in a sensible way). The idiom 'lose one's marbles' appeared in the USA and had 2 meanings at first: gone mad(angry) or lost his reason/ done something really stupid. P.S. Want more American English?     Let's talk about a very rare and unique stone, that is used in small doses in various healing potions to neutralize poisons. I think you have already guessed what it is. Right. Bezoar. It really exists in our world. It is a dense stone consisting of hair and fibers of plants, which is formed mainly in the stomach of ruminants (жвачные животные). Bezoar found in the stomach of the animal is considered useless and cost nothing. Magical properties have only the stones formed in the gallbladder. The word bezoar is derived from the Persian and literally means "antidote". The myth of the bezoar as an antidote was introduced to Europe from the Middle East in the 11th century and remained popular until the 18th century. It was believed not only to have the power of neutralizing any poison, but also to heal almost any disease. In the past this stone was used as a potent (very rare and expensive) medication. Although modern science disproves any usefulness of it, traditional Eastern medicine believes differently.
