According to the company, it has already installed bitcoin terminals at five Simon Malls centers in California, Florida and Georgia. Bitstop CEO Andrew Barnard said the partnership was set up ahead of the holiday season.
🔺 “By strategically choosing the time to install new bitcoin terminals at Simon Malls points, we will allow customers to conveniently buy bitcoins while shopping on Black Friday and Christmas,” he said, adding that many visitors to shopping centers do not understand the principles of blockchain technology and never registered bitcoin wallets. Версия 0.19.0.1 уже доступна для скачивания. Она совместима с операционными системами Linux kernel, macOS 10.10 (+ более новые версии) и Windows 7 (+ более новые версии). В Bitcoin Core подчеркнули, что отныне клиент не поддерживает версии macOS старше 10.10, но в нем еще не добавлена поддержка темной темы в macOS.
⚒В версию 0.19.0 включена функция reduce memory, которая улучшает конфигурацию клиента для запуска на устройстве с ограниченной памятью.
Разработчики добавили три удаленных вызова процедур (RPC):
▪️getbalances — для проверки подтвержденных и неподтвержденных балансов вместо использования разных RPC;
▪️setwalletflag — для включения и отключения свойств конкретного кошелька;
▪️getblockfilter — реализация фильтра BIP158 для указанного блока с использованием конфигурации blockfilterindex.

Bitcoin Core emphasized that from now on the client does not support macOS versions older than 10.10, but it has not yet added support for a dark theme in macOS.

The developers have added three remote procedure calls (RPC):

Tor Project begins accepting Bitcoin donations through the Lightning Networkning

Non-profit organization Tor Project, which develops solutions for establishing an anonymous network connection, on Tuesday announced the start of accepting donations in bitcoins through the solution for scaling the second level of the Lightning Network.
✅According to the announcement, donations through Lightning are accepted as part of the current Bitcoin Tuesday initiative supported by The Giving Block charity. For potential sponsors, Tor Project recommends using a BottlePay wallet, where they can find an organization that will free them from having to enter an address manually.
In addition to the Lightning Network, on its website Tor Project accepts donations in bitcoins through the BTCPayServer service, as well as other cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, Litecoin and Zcash. Tor Project started working with Bitcoin in December 2013.
🔽 In September, podcast author Matt Odell called for support for Tor developers with cryptocurrency donations, saying, “Donate shitcoins, accumulate satoshi.”
In mid-October, the ESET antivirus company announced a fake version of the Tor browser, aimed at members of the Russian-speaking community, which is capable of stealing bitcoins from their owners.

✅ ETH/USD. Вчера в начале дня продавцы продолжали прессинговать и смогли продавить поддержку 176.00 USD. Очередной минимум был установлен в районе отметки 172.00 USD, однако на сегодняшнее утро покупатели смогли вернуть цену к нижней границе желтого пунктирного коридора.
Сегодня движение в боковом диапазоне продолжится и покупатели протестируют его верхнюю границу.

🔽Согласно заявлению SEC, заявка будет пересмотрена, так как отказ по ней был вынесен «с нарушениями». При этом Комиссия подчеркивает, что заявка была отклонена по причине того, что компании не предоставили достаточных доказательств устойчивости криптовалютного рынка к манипуляциям и мошенничеству.
Одним из наиболее важных вопросов со стороны регуляторов при запуске ETF на биткоин является устойчивость срочных рынков к манипулированию. Так как заявка Bitwise и NYSE Arca снова находится на рассмотрении, люди могут подавать в SEC письма с поддержкой предложения или с его критикой.

🔽According to the SEC statement, the application will be revised, as the refusal was made “with violations”. At the same time, the Commission emphasizes that the application was rejected due to the fact that the companies did not provide sufficient evidence of the cryptocurrency market's resistance to manipulation and fraud.
One of the most important issues on the part of regulators when launching ETFs on bitcoin is the stability of derivatives markets to manipulation. As the application of Bitwise and NYSE Arca is pending again, people can submit letters to the SEC supporting the proposal or criticizing it.
