24 ноября разработчики наиболее популярного клиента для сети биткоина Bitcoin Core объявили о выходе новой версии ПО.
Версия 0.19.0.1 уже доступна для скачивания. Она совместима с операционными системами Linux kernel, macOS 10.10 (+ более новые версии) и Windows 7 (+ более новые версии). В Bitcoin Core подчеркнули, что отныне клиент не поддерживает версии macOS старше 10.10, но в нем еще не добавлена поддержка темной темы в macOS.
⚒В версию 0.19.0 включена функция reduce memory, которая улучшает конфигурацию клиента для запуска на устройстве с ограниченной памятью.
Разработчики добавили три удаленных вызова процедур (RPC):
▪️getbalances — для проверки подтвержденных и неподтвержденных балансов вместо использования разных RPC;
▪️setwalletflag — для включения и отключения свойств конкретного кошелька;
▪️getblockfilter — реализация фильтра BIP158 для указанного блока с использованием конфигурации blockfilterindex.
✅Среди новых функций —blockfilterindex, обеспечивающий фильтры для блокчейна в соответствии с BIP158.
В новой версии GUI генерирует адреса формата bech32 по умолчанию, но пользователь может вручную изменить тип адреса. Также по умолчанию отключена поддержка BIP70.
✔️Единственным известным сервисом, использующим BIP70, является крупнейший в мире криптовалютный процессинг BitPay. Многие пользователи не могут оплатить инвойсы сервиса, поскольку их кошельки не поддерживают протокол, который большинство поставщиков услуг давно заменили на схему BIP21.
Еще в мае более 44% нод в сети биткоина работали на ПО с критической уязвимостью.

On November 24, the developers of the most popular client for the Bitcoin Core Bitcoin network announced the release of a new version of the software.
Version 0.19.0.1 is already available for download. It is compatible with Linux kernel, macOS 10.10 (+ newer) and Windows 7 (+ newer) operating systems. Bitcoin Core emphasized that from now on the client does not support macOS versions older than 10.10, but it has not yet added support for a dark theme in macOS.
⚒ Version 0.19.0 includes the reduce memory function, which improves the client configuration for running on a device with limited memory.
The developers have added three remote procedure calls (RPC):
▪️getbalances - to check confirmed and unconfirmed balances instead of using different RPCs;
▪️setwalletflag - to enable or disable the properties of a particular wallet;
▪️getblockfilter - implementation of the BIP158 filter for the specified block using the blockfilterindex configuration.

In the new version, the GUI generates default addresses in bech32 format, but the user can manually change the type of address. Also, BIP70 support is disabled by default.
✔️ The only known service using BIP70 is the world's largest cryptocurrency processing BitPay. Many users cannot pay for service invoices because their wallets do not support the protocol, which most service providers have long replaced with the BIP21 scheme.
