Spring Riga Restaurant week will take place from April 17 to 30. Riga's restaurants will offer special three-course meals for EUR 30-40. This year the event is held for the 10th time and a record number of restaurants will participate there (50). Quantity does not always mean quality, so from the list, I suggest you visit 3 pavāru restorāns, Barents, Buržujs, Fabrikas Restaurant, Ferma, or Garage restaurant.

You may have noticed significantly more clothes recycling containers in the city. Eco Baltija un Latvijas Zaļais punkts started the 'Stils—Tekstils' campaign. At Latvian National Museum of Art opened an exhibition of the Purvītis Prize 2023 candidates. The exhibition comprises a striking selection of artworks by six artists and groups of authors shortlisted by a panel of independent experts for the Purvītis Prize for outstanding achievement in visual art of Latvia in 2021 and 2022.
