Magic AI won't help your startup succeed.
A few days ago, I was at an AI Founders Meetup where we were sharing our experiences in startups, and I realized one key thing:
In my startup, Apiway, I also made this mistake.
I thought that for the customer, it is more important how we are solving a problem, but not what problem we are solving.
The reality is quite the opposite.
At this meetup, founders were discussing AI and how cool it can be.
However, they didn't think about real people's problems, how many people in the world have these problems, or if they are already paying to resolve these problems, etc.
They were just trying to fix things that aren't broken, and they tried to do it with AI.
I also did this with Apiway, and life hit me hard.
If you can resolve the problem without AI, it is much better than using AI to resolve a problem that doesn't even exist.
