We invite all 30 winners of the design contest to take part in the second stage of the competition – to design the main screens of a native Telegram app for Windows 11. Prize fund: 40,000 USD Deadline: January 22, 2022 @ 23:00 Dubai Time Who can take part: All 30 winners of the first stage Announcement of results: January 30, 2022 Goal: Design main screens for the Windows 11 native Telegram app in accordance with the newest guidelines of Windows 11 and using the latest approaches of that platform (e.g. blurred backgrounds). The mockups and functionality shown should also be consistent with the Telegram apps on other platforms. The screens that are necessary to design: - Chat list with all types of chats shown (channels, groups, secret chats, bots) - Chats with all types of messages shown (voice and video messages, videos, photos, polls, documents) - The UI to send files/media and add captions to them. - The UI to record voice and video messages. - Voice/Video chats and 1-to-1 calls - Main settings and Chat settings To check out what a native Windows Telegram app looks like, you can try Unigram @unigramappx. This update (version 6832+) also contains a highly requested feature: the tray icon! The system tray icon has been introduced to make notifications more reliable even when the main window is closed, but it can be disabled any time by toggling "Show Tray Icon" option located in Settings > Advanced.

The latest update caused a lot of troubles to many users, but don't worry, a fix is on the way! 🔥 New version for Unigram 8.3 What's new: Protected Content, Delete by Date, Device Management and More Protected Content in Groups and Channels • Content creators can restrict the ability to forward messages from their groups and channels. • When forwarding is restricted, users will also be unable to directly save media from the chat or take screenshots. • Toggle this option on or off via Chat Info > Group / Channel Type. Delete Messages by Date • Clear messages in one-on-one chats from a specific date or period of time. • Tap the date header in a chat to open the calendar and select a single day or range to delete. Manage Connected Devices • Choose how long a device may stay inactive before it's logged out automatically. • Select a device to control whether it is allowed to accept Calls or new Secret Chats. Anonymous Posting in Public Groups • Comment as one of your channels in public groups and channel comments. • Tap the profile picture next to the message bar to choose which channel you will appear as when you send the message. Record Live Streams and Video Chats • Record video and audio from live broadcasts in your group or channel. • Admins can start recording from the Settings menu (⋯). • Choose between recording in portrait or landscape orientation. • Finished recordings are sent to the admin's Saved Messages and can be easily shared. Unigram direct installation is now easier than ever! You can simply download the new setup and hit Install. No more certificates to deal with, nor complex step by step procedures to follow. N.B.: if you're using direct installation already, the new package will be installed as a new app. You can simply uninstall the old one, just make sure to backup your themes and secret chats.
