Далее, если нам нужно дробное число типа “одна девятая”, то мы используем порядковое числительное. Например,
a fourth ~ a quarter /ˈkwɔːtə/ = ¼
a fifth = 1/5
a sixth = 1/6
a seventh = 1/7
and so on (и так далее).
Во всех этих случаях неопределенный артикль ’a’ можно заменить числительным ’one’.
