Ethereum scaling solution zkSync will announce details on its native token in the first week of November, Steve Newcomb, chief product officer at zkSync's development firm, Matter Labs, said in a Twitter Spaces discussion. Binance has denied allegations that it intends to use customers’ Uniswap tokens (UNI) held on its exchange for governance votes.
A Binance spokesperson acknowledged that it moved 4.6 million UNI between wallets and activated its delegation, but said the reason for the transfer was misreported and it never intended to vote with the tokens.
Binance holds 5.9% of the voting power on Uniswap. For context, the venture capital firm a16z has 6.7% and has voted on 14 proposals.

The team behind PancakeSwap, one of the top Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs), announced their plans to deploy on a new blockchain. The team aspires to transition to the blockchain as soon as possible in order to establish the DEX as the leading exchange on Aptos and gain a larger market share through early deployment.

Ripple’s general council says the crypto payments firm has received a series of documents from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission revealing the agency’s internal dialogue on Ethereum.
The documents contain internal SEC emails and early drafts of a speech delivered by former SEC official William Hinman in 2018, when Hinman stated in his official capacity that he believes both Bitcoin and Ethereum are not securities.
