Decentralized or non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange Bisq has halted trading until further notice due to a “critical security vulnerability.”
Bisq is expected to release an update of its application “within a few hours.” In the meantime, the exchange has advised users not to send any funds to a counter-party if they active trades.
The whale initially transferred 50,042 Bitcoin worth $367,982,598 to one unknown wallet, and in the same transfer sent 100 to a separate unknown wallet. The fee for the giant transfer was only 37 cents.
Bitfinex will offer staking rewards up to 10% per annum on crypto assets underpinned by a Proof-of-Stake algorithm.
Bitfinex will launch staking with support for three cryptocurrencies: EOS, V-Systems (VSYS), and Cosmos (ATOM). The exchange’s CTO adds that more stackable tokens will be added in the coming months — with Tezos (XTZ) staking currently slated to launch in May.
Ether, the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum network, has recorded its single biggest daily gain in over 20 days amid growing confidence in the platform, experts say.

Brave, the open-source pay-to-surf browser, will soon have more options for trading its signature token.
The Gemini website, the platform announced they would soon support trading for Brave’s Basic Attention Token (BAT). Users will be able to deposit BAT into their Gemini accounts starting on April 24th at 9:30 AM EST, with trading to begin “soon thereafter”.

Seven crypto companies have been targeted by 11 lawsuits that were filed in a New York federal court on April 3.
The eleven putative class action suits name dozens of parties including cryptocurrency exchanges Binance, KuCoin, BiBox, and BitMEX and parent company HDR Global Trading Limited, and alleged crypto issuers Block.one, Quantstamp, KayDex, Civic, BProtocol, Status, and the Tron Foundation.
Many of the company’s principals are named, including several leading figures in the crypto sector such as Changpeng Zhao (CZ), Dan Larimer, Vinny Lingham, and Brendan Blumer.
Opera now enables users to access decentralized web pages through a partnership with Unstoppable Domains. The collaboration entails Opera’s integration of Unstoppable Domain’s .crypto domain extension.
This will allow the browser’s users to surf decentralized websites, as well as make cryptocurrency payments.
