Frax Finance plans to launch its own Ethereum Layer 2. Fraxchain will be a hybrid-rollup, an EVM compatible L2. The network most likely will be launched by the end of the year.
Restaking protocol EigenLayer goes live on Ethereum on June 14th. The protocol allows those staking ETH to restake on EigenLayer by depositing liquid staking tokens including Lido stETH (stETH), Rocket Pool ETH (rETH) and Coinbase Wrapped Staked ETH (cbETH). EigenLayer has raised a total of $64.5M at a $500M FDV.
Uniswap Labs has released vision and draft code of Uniswap DEX v4. According to the blog post the discussion will take months before the launch. The new release will allow more customization, will introduce limit orders, spreading out orders over a period of time, minimalistic pools with their own rules and other features.
Binance will offer Maverick Protocol (MAV) farming on Binance Launchpool as of June 14th. Users will be able to stake their BNB and TUSD into separate pools to farm MAV tokens over 25 days. 1.5% (30M MAV) of the total token supply to be offered on the platform. 24M MAV in rewards (80%) to be offered to BNB stakers and 6M MAV (20%) to TUSD stakers.
