This is the 1947 Tama, by Tokyo Electro Automobile Co..which, in 1951, merged with Prince Auto Co, which, in 1966, became part of Nissan...and so things grow.
It's an electric car with a top speed of 34 km/h and a range of 65 km. Compare that to the EVs we have a choice of now.
Birds that spend most of their time in trees tend to hop because this is faster and easier on narrow twigs and branches than walking like a tightrope acrobat.
These birds have evolved legs and feet that hop efficiently, so it makes sense to keep this up even when they are foraging on the ground.
Hopping works best for small, lightweight birds with short legs. Each hop takes them as far as several steps if they were walking normally, so they use less energy. But even though it beats walking, hopping is slower than running.
Blackbirds, for example, will switch from hopping to running if they are in a hurry.
1956 Viberti "Golden Dolphin". Viberti of Turin, Italy designed a plastic bus prototype known as "Golden Dolphin".
Powered by a gas turbine engine, it had a cruising speed of approximately 190km/h (the most cars of that time barely could reach 120km/h), and would be built in two versions, with 18 and 32 seats respectively.
Virgil D. White was a clever inventor who sold and serviced Model T Fords, becoming an authorized Ford dealer in West Ossipee, New Hampshire (USA).
By 1913 he had patented a Snowmobile conversion kit for Model T Fords, which he sold for $400, and complete vehicles were sold for $750.
1923 seems to be the first year that he actively marketed the newly-invented “Snowmobile.”
The first year they sold only 75. Once people saw them in action, sales quickly jumped to as many as 2,500 a year. Typical Snowmobile customers were doctors and rural mail carriers.
The first Picturephone test system by Bell, built in 1956, transmitted an image only once every two seconds. Two decades later, in 1970, commercial Picturephone service debuted but was unpopular. Picturephone was still big and expensive.

Douglas DC-4 was produced between 1938 and 1947. Depending on the configuration could seat 40 to 80 passengers and had a flying range of 6839kms. Cruising speed was 365km/h (top speed 450km/h).
