So yep, as you can see the small “want the sandwich make the sandwich eat the sandwich" area has grown wildly in size, pushing everything else of and about me to the very peripheries of my mind, its importance eclipsed entirely by eating and a barrage of associated eating-related anxieties and self-loathing. There is very little space or energy left to invest in anything outside of that. And for me that's one of the most agonizing realities of an eating disorder: being completely consumed by fear of what I am or am not consuming.
