Компания со странным названием Bitcoin Manipulation Abatement присоединилась к армии истцов, обвиняющих Ripple в незаконной продаже ценных бумаг.

Напомним, 28-30 апреля в стоимости набирал не только BTC, но и все крупнейшие альткоины. Биткоин накануне достигал $9300, и в сети появились прогнозы, что до конца текущей недели монета протестирует значения на уровне $10 000.
📌За 48 часов BTC подскочил более чем на 22% или на $1700, что усилило интерес к этому активу по всему миру.
В России, также как и во остальных странах, существенно выросло количество поисковых запросов по биткоину.
Люди преимущественно интересуются стоимостью первой криптовалюты. Такую динамику можно увидеть на графике. В первую пятерку по количеству запросов в сети попали Пермский край, Ханты-Мансийский округ, Воронежская область, Башкирия и Челябинская область.
☝️Отметим, что Москва в этом рейтинге заняла только восьмое место, а Петербург вообще оказался на 16-ой строчке.
Параллельно зафиксирован растущий интерес к теме майского сокращения награды биткоин-майнеров или так называемого халвинга. Если посмотреть на график, то можно увидеть, что число поисковых запросов по данной тематике продолжает расти.

The Nasdaq Stock Exchange has partnered with R3 to launch the digital asset platform on the Corda blockchain.
🔺 As Johan Toll, head of digital assets at Nasdaq, says, capital market participants can now use Corda to issue, trade, settle, and store digital assets.
The Corda blockchain is integrated with the Nasdaq Financial Framework, which is connected to a number of other services in the capital markets, including reconciliation, monitoring, data discovery and reporting mechanisms.

Bitfinex cryptocurrency exchange this Monday announced the launch of its new product - a social network for traders. According to Cointelegraph, participants in the Bitfinex Pulse platform will be able to share ideas and otherwise interact in the context of the market.
Other companies launched similar services earlier. For example, the commercial model of the eToro platform is based on the interaction of traders: they can view information about each other, including trading statistics, exchange messages and copy transactions of the most successful participants.
🔺 “Unlike eToro, which from the very beginning has been a social investment network focused on a wide retail market, Bitfinex Pulse is designed specifically for users of the exchange,” said a company representative. “The emphasis will be on niche, high-quality content that is needed by a more technically advanced audience.”
☝️The ability to copy transactions in Bitfinex Pulse is not provided. Verified platform participants will be able to post their posts for public viewing and exchange messages in personal correspondence. Only the second will be available to unverified users.
Earlier this month, Bitfinex announced the launch of its own cryptocurrency staking service.

Разработчики кошелька Calibra, предназначенного для проекта Libra социальной сети Facebook, создали метод тестирования консенсуса BFT под названием Twins («Близнецы»).
В документе создатели метода тестирования подчеркивают, что он позволяет быстро и просто тестировать алгоритмы BFT. В решении используется запуск двух одинаковых узлов для эмуляции поведения алгоритма, включая «неоднозначность, двойное голосование и потерю внутреннего состояния».

The developers of the Calibra wallet, designed for the Libra project of the social network Facebook, have created a BFT consensus testing method called Twins.
In the document, the creators of the testing method emphasize that it allows you to quickly and easily test BFT algorithms. The solution uses the launch of two identical nodes to emulate the behavior of the algorithm, including “ambiguity, double voting and loss of internal state”.
🔺 “The Twins method allows the operator to systematically generate attacks on BFT protocols, scale them, execute them completely under control, and check the necessary parameters of the algorithm,” the document says.
Developers have already used Twins to recreate well-known attacks on BFT algorithms. Two vulnerabilities that the community “took more than a decade to detect in BFT algorithms” were identified using the Twins “in minutes” method.
