Compute North received another $300 million in debt financing from Generate Capital, which participated in the investment round. The company from Minnesota plans to use the raised funds to create new hosting facilities in the US, in the states of Nebraska, North Carolina and Texas. Compute North founder and CEO Dave Perrill did not disclose the number and technical details of the new data centers. According to him, several objects are at different stages of readiness. 🔺“We plan to share more information about each facility as they become operational,” Perrill explained. In July 2021, Compute North announced the expansion of data center capacity to 1.2 GW with the construction of five new facilities.
