В китайских соцсетях активно обсуждается выпуск стартапом Linzhi, самого мощного ASIC-майнера Ethereum. Полученные рядом шахт экспериментальные образцы, выдают производительность 2600 MH/s при потреблении 3000 ВТ мощности.
Скорость вычислений Linzhi Phoenix в три раза превосходит показатели A10 Pro ­– флагманскую модель производителя ETH-майнеров Innosilicon, одна установка заменяет 27 видеокарт NVIDIA 3080, 50 видеокарт AMD 5700XT или 90 видеокарт AMD 580.
Стартап укомплектовал майнер картой на 4,4 ГБ, что указывает ориентированность оборудования на добычу Ethereum Classic. Рост размера файла DAG, загружаемого алгоритмом майнинга Ethash в память видеокарты, сделает майнер бесполезным для добычи Ethereum через 2 месяца.
