The Chinese miner manufacturer Ebang, whose shares are publicly traded on the US NASDAQ stock exchange, has applied for a tender to buy a New Zealand broker. The amount of the transaction and the name of the company were not disclosed, the winning participant acquires 100% of the company.
The New Zealand-acquired broker will become the third financial firm after the Canadian and Singaporean businesses launched this year.
Ebang strives to create an international platform offering innovative payment products, including transactions with digital assets. Two previous acquisitions have already received corresponding government licenses.
