Даже у более новой модели майнера MicroBT Whatsminer M30S++ заявленная эффективность составляет 31 Дж/Тх.
В целом продукты Bitmain опережают конкурентов, считают исследователи BitMEX. Однако, существует большая проблема с доступностью устройств лидера рынка:

The BitMEX research team tested Bitmain and MicroBT mining equipment and reported that Bitmain ASIC miners still outperform competitors' devices.
❗️The researchers tested the Bitmain Antminer S19 Pro and MicroBT Whatsminer M30S + miners for three days. Various aspects of the devices were analyzed, including hash rate, power consumption, temperature conditions, cooling fan volume and market availability of equipment. It turned out that Antminer S19 Pro is noticeably more efficient than Whatsminer M30S + - it consumes 29.7 J / Th versus 34.4 J / Th. Even the newer model of the MicroBT Whatsminer M30S ++ miner has a declared efficiency of 31 J / Th.
Overall, Bitmain's products are ahead of the competition, according to BitMEX researchers. However, there is a big problem with the availability of the market leader's devices:
🔺 “MicroBT products are cheaper and more importantly available for purchase. Bitmain hardware, as indicated on the website, is completely sold out. MicroBT can deliver hardware in a few days, and Bitmain miners have been coming to us for almost five weeks. "
✅According to the report, the researchers also interviewed several mining farm operators. It turned out that most of them are "very upset" by the problems with the supply of Bitmain equipment, however "they mostly continue to use these miners and do not even consider switching to MicroBT devices." However, for large mining farms, this is fairly standard behavior - it is much easier and cheaper to maintain the same hardware than a heterogeneous environment.
