В Управлении Следственного комитета по Ставропольскому краю сообщили о пресечении деятельности подпольного майнера в регионе.
В пресс-центре ведомства уточнили, что добычей криптовалюты на рабочем месте занимался экс-глава филиала Почты России в Минеральных Водах. Правоохранители установили, что он в сентябре прошлого года незаконно подключил майнинг-ферму к электросети и тайно начал добывать криптовалюту.
✏️Майнингом почтовик занимался примерно шесть месяцев, в это время потребленную электроэнергию и интернет оплачивала российская госкомпания. Общая сумма ущерба превышает 30 000 рублей. Следком возбудил уголовное дело по материалам проведенной проверки.
❗️Это уже не первый случай, когда работник госучреждения на рабочем месте тайно добывал токены. Осенью минувшего года в суд поступило дело подпольных майнеров из Сарова.

The press center of the department said that the cryptocurrency was mined at the workplace by the former head of the Russian Post branch in Mineralnye Vody. Law enforcement authorities established that in September last year he illegally connected a mining farm to the electricity network and secretly began to mine cryptocurrency.
