Antminer E3 был представлен в апреле 2018 года, став первым и единственным массовым ASIC-майнером, работающим на алгоритме Ethash. Несмотря на заявления разработчиков, что хэшрейт сети Ethereum Classic с участием Antminer E3 составляет 180 Мх/с, некоторые пользователи сообщили о снижении хэшрейта до 30 Мх/с и внезапном прекращении добычи ETC. Antminer E3 was introduced in April 2018, becoming the first and only massive ASIC miner working on the Ethash algorithm. Despite developers claiming that the hash rate of the Ethereum Classic network with Antminer E3 is 180 Mh / s, some users have reported a decrease in the hash rate to 30 Mh / s and the sudden cessation of ETC mining. Miners will have to switch to other coins on Ethash, but their profitability after the influx of new capacities will drop significantly.
