Riot Blockchain, listed on the Nasdaq exchange, is increasing its computing power, also relying on a large rally of the main cryptocurrency.
✅ December 4, a Oklahoma company invested about $ 5 million in 3,000 Bitmain Antminer S17 Pro miners. Last month, Riot Blockchain already acquired more than 4,000 of the same devices for its mining center in this state.
🔺The company said that the S17 Pro is cost-effective and achieves 50% energy savings compared to the Antminer S9 currently in use by the company.
Oklahoma does not occupy the best position on the mining map, and the state does not even have renewable energy resources, as in Canadian Quebec or the Pacific Northwest of the USA. However, commercial electricity tariffs are 28% lower than the national average.
