Опубликованная там «Дорожная карта» ставит цели поиска компромисса между централизованным выпуском блоков и децентрализованной их валидацией. Бутерин акцентирует внимание на том факте, что блокчейн со смарт-контрактами требует от владельцев нод предоставления сети вычислительных ресурсов и чем они выше, тем больше скорость транзакций и сложность правил экосистемы. ❗️Ethereum 2.0 нуждается в отдельной индустрии производства блоков и проводки транзакций, похожей на ту, что сложилась при PoW-майнинге Ethereum или Bitcoin. Виталик Бутерин осознает риски захвата контроля над блокчейном объединениями майнеров и возможными попытками раскола блокчейна. ▪️Экосистема Ethereum 2.0 может использовать для борьбы с этими проблемами децентрализованную валидацию, доступную владельцам легких клиентов, способных работать на смартфонах.
