Today a student of mine while describing a picture has stumbled "People are disembarking the plane. Loaders ....cargo from the plane". So, if we speak about occupants: they "DISEMBARK", "DEPLANE", "GET OFF" the plane cargo: it is "DISEMBARKED", "UNLOADED" from the plane.
