SELCAL question: What are the main requirements for pilots? There are a lot of stringent requiremnts that a person has to meet to be a pilot. First of all,you need to have an appropriate education,to be a holder of PPL,CPL,ATPL. The next requirement is a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate. All pilots are required to have this certificate throughout their entire flying careers. Aviation English Proficiency is also a must. Not less than operational 4th level of ICAO is required from all pilots. To become a pilot you'll need a specific set of skills and attributes.
