That's right over a year now work later the Dark signal audio is now going to be going stand alone. This pack is one of several planned for release soon. The pack is all the gun shots, explosions, layers, suppressor and distance scaling of the audio over how far you are from the source. The mod covers virtually every weapon in the game and expands its audio across the board.
This undertaking took well over a year and with good reason as creating, sourcing and testing it took forever, it worked great with my mod pack Dark signal and now I feel like it's reached a point where it's time to release it into the wild.
The mod comprises of 90 weapons complete with their own layers and audio.
Sadly however not every thing translates and the Gun handling audio probably won't be released give that as mods update their animations the audio has to either be remade from scratch or constantly changed to meet the updates. I simply can not do all this audio and up keep it at the same time as Dark signal covered not only weapons but mutants, ambience, weather, anomalies, gun handling, foot steps, UI, blowouts and more as the creator of all this audio trying to maintain all of with other mods updating is almost impossible, however if Gun handling audio is REALLY REALLY wanted then once these packs are release I can see about making new gun handling audio for the latest BaS and Blindeside updates that are either out or on the horizon.
Besides that here is what I am announcing for release on mod db in terms of packs
Dark signal weapon soundscape : All weapon gun shots, layers, layers, explosions ETC (Based on the JSRS file structure rebuild)
Dark signal: mutant audio
Dark signal: footsteps
Dark signal: weather and ambiance (Will require sound scape overhaul)
Dark signal : Anomalies and blowouts
Dark signal : UI interface (Will require FDDA)
