🥶 WAYS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT COLD WEATHER 🧊IT’S COLD AS ICE ☝️to say you’re feeling cold. You can also say “I’m cold”, obviously, or “It’s biting cold!”, meaning that it’s really cold. 🧊 IT’S NIPPY/CHILLY ☝️“uncomfortably or unpleasantly cold”. Not an extreme, but not comfortable either. 🧊 THERE’S A NIP IN THE AIR ☝️ This is the same as “biting cold”, meaning “very cold”. 🧊 IT’S CRISP ☝️cool, fresh, and invigorating, so it’s a pleasant temperature. 🧊 IT’S BRASS MONKEY WEATHER ☝️“extremely cold”. 🧊 IT’S FREEZING ☝️if it’s freezing cold, you’d better take some care of yourself, or else you’ll catch your death of cold and end up in bed! 🧊 IT’S FROSTY ☝️the “frost” is the icy layer you can find on outdoor surfaces during a cold winter morning.
