If you understand what people say, it means that you already have vocabulary and grammar necessary to communicate.
You are being held back by two things: anxiety and lack of practice.
Few tips that help: ⠀ - nobody cares about your English and you. People care about not wasting their time on you and moving on with their lives. ⠀ - A majority of native speakers that you interact with would forget that you exist by tomorrow. The last thing they would think about is mistakes that you made while speaking. ⠀ - You don’t have to raise your voice to be understood. ⠀ - Smile, look people in the eye and shake girl’s hands (or a man s hand). In fact, being gloomy, staring down and trying to kiss a girl’s hand would feel a lot weirder than a grammar mistake.
Practice is easier: ⠀ - if you make a grammar mistake, do at least 100 exercises till the rule that you are trying to learn becomes an instinct. ⠀ - Sing along with your favorite songs, have lyrics to help. ⠀ - Talk to yourself in English about things that happened during the day. ⠀ @bbclEn
