Right behind the Gates one of the roads turned left making one pass by the Cholera Cemeteries of 1830.
Then the road went by the Gardener’s House surrounded by fruit trees and seedbeds. There was an old Brick Factory of Arephiy Kirovich Butyugin on the right. He was known for having ordered and presented a great wooden crucifixion the Church of Mother of God in Izmailovo in 1864.

There was John Guchesson’s Stocking Factory. Was it a successful business? One couldn’t say exactly. Maybe not. Perhaps drinking Bavaria beer at his place he was thinking of the constancy of the drink while producing stockings wasn’t so simple.

Was it exactly that way; not clear. But John Guchesson sold his property in 1887.
Having got rid of the unnecessary business he set up hop trade.
Noone knows if that new company was prosperous. However, rubber manufactory which was run instead of the stocking one turned out to be rewarding.

Since 200 years the factory had become French-Russian auction society “Bogatyr”. And it was renamed into “The Red Bogatyr” in 1923.
The plant was included into a famous “Rubbertrust” the ad of which was designed by the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky.

Nowadays this building is used as the business center or a so-called “creative cluster”
