Fully remote, hybrid or onsite at the studio in Montreal, LA or anywhere in North America. We are actively seeking a Senior Technical Level Designer for a studio widely recognized as a successful developer of open-world action role-playing games and currently one of the highest grossing mobile games (Top 10 in the App Store). They have enjoyed massive success releasing anime-oriented mobile games. They are poised for continued growth by developing world class action RPG titles using the Unreal Engine. In this role, the successful candidate will be focused on working with missions and narrative. As well as layout-focused and less-technical members of the level design team. The main responsibility is to script engaging missions and encounters and provide technical support to the level design team. You are also expected to contribute to the workflow and pipeline. 🚀 Что ты будешь делать • Working directly with programmers, game designers, artists, and animators to implement gameplay scenarios using proprietary toolset • Collaborating with tools team to design and implement tools that improve efficiency and consistency in the design team • Identifying and implementing design modules/patterns that are highly reusable by level designers • Acting as a technical expert for the level design team • Identifying potential risks, looking for systemic improvement • Assisting the rest of the department with debugging and bug fixing, and collaborating with other teams on interdisciplinary investigations 📚 Твои скиллы • Strong programming skills (computer science, game programming, etc. graduates preferred) • Strong methodology and problem-solving skills, with a focus on creative, fun, and innovative solutions • Strong and effective communication and organizational skills • Experience with open world narrative design • Experience with unreal game engine • Experience in developing aaa titles 🌐 Vacancy link #UnrealEngine #GameDev #FullTime #Code #Art #Senior #Remote #CreativeTechnologyResources
