Catching a flying ball, bringing a fork to your mouth, or walking, require the brain to plan every necessary action. 🧠 It needs to know the goal of the movement, how to position the body in space, which muscles to contract for this purpose... This planning of necessary actions takes place in the frontal lobe. Its neurons are in regular contact with other areas, in particular those responsible for vision and memory. The frontal lobe, at first, creates an image of the necessary movement. Then the orders go a little bit back to the muscle control zone. And it, for its part, refers to the corresponding motor area.
