Polycystic disease A disease that manifests itself by the formation of multiple cysts in the organ. A cyst, in turn, is a pathological cavity with a wall and contents. Polycystosis is most commonly formed in the ovaries, liver and kidneys. These are the main sites for these neoplasms. And they look quite similar - a kind of "bundle of balls"☝🏻 Interestingly, all these diseases are treated mostly with medication. And only in case of ineffectiveness of such treatment can surgical intervention be performed.
