Subdural hematoma • This kind of hemorrhage results from damage to the vessels (mostly veins) between the meninges. It is considered a dangerous injury, potentially life-threatening the patient. • A local accumulation of blood forms between the two meninges (in most cases between the hard and soft membranes). If such a hematoma increases, it is manifested by progressive fading of consciousness.
