About the role: As a Team Lead for the Paysend Store Product (e-commerce platform), your job will be to facilitate the successful launch, sustained development, and maintenance of our new product. As a Chapter Lead for Python, you will champion engineering excellence by promoting technology standards, managing the team of python engineers, and implementing best engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: • Hiring, leading and coaching an engineering team • Product architecture development • Developing complex services on Python • Integrating product with internal and external services • Project IT team mgmt: distribution and evaluation of tasks, workload control, instructions and support • Working closely with Product Manager on sprint planning, sprint grooming • Conducting code review and quality control • Being responsible for releases and troubleshooting • Working on analysis and optimization of development processes • Collaborating with DevOps engineers and QA • Leading Python Chapter: experience sharing, best practices and supporting members in various project teams You have: • 1+ years of experience as Team Lead, Tech Lead or similar roles • Deep understanding of Python and related tools • 5+ years of experience with Python 3.X • 3+ of experience experience with JS (React) • Experience with one of the following frameworks: Flask, Django, Sanic, Aiohttp • Deep understanding of OPP and design patterns • Experience with Docker, Docker Compose • Experience with non-relational DBMS (MongoDB), experience with request optimization • HTTP, UDP, REST, etc • Scrum, Agile • English upper-Intermediate or higher Ideally, you’ll also have: • Experience with Kubernetes • Understanding of Selenium • Experience in Fintech or/and Ecommerce • ELK Stack Benefits: • Flexible working hours, schedule 5/2; • Benefits, bounds, bonuses; • Loyal vacation system; • Annual corporate events.
