Daily Heroism: Readovka presents mini-movie about Donetsk ambulance workers
The capital of the Donetsk People's Republic is under daily bombardment from heavy howitzers and rocket-propelled grenades, which kill, destroy families, and maim people. Often children are the victims of such attacks.
In one night at one emergency station, we witnessed a terrible tragedy when a 15-year-old boy, Vladislav, stepped on a PFM-1 land mine. Doctors have done everything to save the boy's leg, but he will still be disabled.
And there are a lot of such teenagers and adults. Some get blown up on mines, others come under fire. Many are saved thanks to the courage and bravery of Donetsk doctors, who work tirelessly.
Watch the Readovka mini-film made by our military correspondent Rostislav Shorokhov about the heroes who remain unnoticed, but do the most important work in the world.
