🇵🇱 KERET HOUSE IN WARSAW/POLAND

Symbolic tenant and owner: an Israeli writer Etgar Keret

Designed by: Polish architect Jakub Szczesny

Measuring: 72 centimetres at its thinnest point and 122 centimetres at its widest

💭FACTS:

The Keret House is squeezed into a crevice between two buildings 🏬 in the centre of Warsaw and will provide a temporary home for travelling writers.

This model outlines the overall layout of the triangle-shaped 🔼 house.

"It requires a sense of humour, as you cannot stay long in a place like this. But it’s already become a Warsaw icon and is already on the tourist map," said the architect.

The kitchen 🍳and bathroom 🛁 are nestled just below the bedroom 🛏 of the Keret House – again, providing only the basics for traveling artists that come and stay.

The sleeping 💤 area at the highest point of the home contains just enough room for one person to rest their head.
