Ruptly is live from Jarinje, the border crossing between Kosovo and Serbia, on Sunday, July 31, as citizens are reportedly setting up barricades in several locations in the north of Kosovo and on the border with Serbia. Serbian President Aleksander Vucic expressed concerns over Kosovo's decision to require temporary IDs for Serbs from 1 August, during his address to the nation from Belgrade on Sunday. Vucic urged Albanian authorities to come to their senses to avoid any future conflict.
He also warned against any possible persecution of Serbs, adding "there will be no surrender and Serbia will win. If they dare to persecute Serbs, mistreat Serbs or kill Serbs - Serbia will win."
