Our friends at Pinterest came to us looking to extend and elevate their identity system through motion. Pinterest had some foundational elements, but it was difficult for internal teams and their external partners to create consistent and thoughtful work. We took a step back and established a brand behavior that could be implemented across all assets from expressive to supportive and minimal to maximal. While Pinterest is a digital brand, we were inspired by physics and how people use the product, referencing the tactile feel of pins on cork and collaging.
