We at octoboard.com are building Business Cloud Data Visualisation and Analytics Platform. Our international team is expanding. We are looking for ambitious individuals with a solid experience in full-stack Javascript development to join our new St. Petersburg office.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, test, document, launch and maintain feature rich Single Page Web Apps (SPA):
• Coding using modern web development languages, tools, methodologies and practices: Meteor.js, ES6, React / Redux, Next.js, MongoDB and others.
• Designing and building elegant and effective software architectures.
• Refining project requirements and workload estimation in Agile process.
• Integrating 3rd party web APIs / libraries.
• Every part of web development job required to make project a business success:
• Code refactoring, debugging, testing and continuous integration.
What we expect of you:
• Technical competencies:
• 2+ years of commercial JavaScript development experience.
• Practical knowledge of the following technologies and languages:
• javascript es6, react, redux, radium, meteor;
• nodejs and npm, webpack, mongodb, html5, flexbox css;
• Ability to write elegant, efficient, concise and highly maintainable code.
• Ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies and tricks in practice.
• Knowledge of OOD & OOP, domain driven design, test driven development, design patterns, code smells.
• Solid proficiency in development tools of your choice (WebStorm preferred).
• Soft skills:
• Excellent work and time planning skills and ethics, ability to take on personal responsibilities, deliver on commitments.
• Taking personal responsibility for what you build and go extra mile when necessary; striving to deliver a maximum level of quality possible within agreed time frame.
• Good communication skills, good written technical English.
