Insignia Group of Companies is one of the most bespoke high-end lifestyle management and payment service groups in the world. We are seeking a Front-end Developer to join the Insinet Ltd, providing IT and Operational services.
The role
The Front-end Developer’s role can utilize latest web technologies and frameworks to develop effective user interfaces on website and mobile apps released to the public. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT department to update the website and internal web tools to make them more efficient. The front end developer will also be responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and improve company website
• Develop new products that will be used to access our financial systems
• Build high-quality mock-ups and design different prototypes
• Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements
• Optimize our web applications for maximum speed
• Design mobile-based features
• Always stay consistent with our brand guidelines
• Make suggestions for better solutions to problems
• Keep abreast of latest and emerging technologies
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Job requirements
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and/or Node.js.
• Experience in Responsive Design and single page applications.
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Proficient knowledge of image authoring tools. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop is a
plus.
• Familiarity with new frameworks and prototyping tools.
• Ability to translate mock-ups into seamless web pages with perfect visual and functional
elements
• Ability to find solutions to the new challenges daily.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and knowledge of how to interface with them.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• 3 years’ experience working in Front-End Development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.
• Knowledge of C# .Net and XAML is considered a plus.
• Experience in React, Redux, webpack and Understanding of Redux-Saga, Recompose, Reselect
Is considered an asset.
