The company works as a partner to the US team of a UK-based SaaS consultancy company which delivers strategic systems transformations for successful business change. The company has a deep understanding of technology and business implications and what it takes to create sustainable change in an enterprise. It offers services in the areas of cloud migration technology, solutions design, service management, or application development.
Project Description:
The project is focused on developing a web-based application for monitoring of cloud migration of various financial software products. The main purpose of the project is developing a web-based application for monitoring of financial software cloud migration. End-client is a major US bank involved in purchasing of smaller financial institutions and as per regulations all foreign software products need to be migrated into the Client's software portfolio. The project is ongoing and it has been growing in the last 3 years with upcoming clients ensuring the long-term potential of the developed applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage/Lead a team of 5-7 full-stack developers based in Sofia, Bulgaria working with .NET (Entity Framework) and Angular JS
• Perform software design and architecture in both .NET and Python
• Implement major new features and feature improvements
• Optimize code and queries for better performance
• Assist with integration and usability testing
• Daily contact and communication with Project Manager to report progress, identify issues, and define next steps
Requirements:
• Experience as a team leader and/or equivalent position would be a benefit
• Advanced knowledge of C#, Entity Framework
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript related languages (preferably Angular but also jQuerry, React, etc.).
• Working knowledge/understanding of Python
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Relocation to Sofia, Bulgaria
Bonus Skills (not requirements):
• Fluent in other programming languages
• Ability to interact and communicate with multiple stakeholders, including C-level;
• Strong UI skills Fluent in programming tools as GitHub for repository; Pivotal Tracker for product management; TeamCity for build automation
• Knowledge of test automation: Karma, Jasmin and nUnit
