Аарон Плaттнер занимающийся созданием проприетарных драйверов для NVIDIA написал пост в котором написал, чего не хватает для поддержки wayland. Хоть NVIDIA недавно и опубликовала исходники, но судя по всему что-то работающее мы увидим еще не скоро.
