Git branching strategy:
“master” branch exact match of production File Cabinet (gets more complicated with SDF..)
Each JIRA story = feature branch off master, merged via pull request on deployment to production
Enforce git comments using JIRA smart commit syntax for GitHub <-> JIRA integration
Dev Process
Enforce dev in dev sandbox only, and only deploy to UAT sandbox when ready for UAT testing to commence (i.e. no broken code in UAT sandbox)
Code Style Guide (prettier.js)
Enforced by CI/CD tool / GitHub Pull Request
Code Linting (eslint)
Enforced by CI/CD tool / GitHub Pull Request
Code Review Process

Deployment and CI/CD
All new projects to use SDF. Existing customizations to be gradually converted
A company preferred CI/CD tool is Jenkins

Support existing SS1.0 scripts at this stage
All new development should be in SS2.x
SS2.1 if not performance-critical
SS2.0 if performance-critical, until NetSuite resolves performance issues
