Three of these petitions were launched on the U.S. non-profit petition platform Avaaz, and one was posted on the Kazakh website Alash. Four separate articles from Radio Liberty’s Kazakh website, Azzatyq, shared one of the petitions. While we could not determine whether the operation created the petitions, CrowdTangle data shows that assets were often the first to share the links on Facebook
