​​EigenLayer announced the release of the testnet for the first stage of the protocol. The launch will be phased in 3 stages: 1. For stakers. 2. For Operators. 3. For services. Stage 1 is an early and non-incentivized testnet built on the Ethereum Goerli network. EigenLayer is building a restaking protocol. The startup has recently raised $50M in a Series A funding round led by Blockchain Capital, with participation from Electric Capital & Polychain Capital.
