​​Balancer V2 is expected to launch this March. According to the blog post all interactions with Balancer V2 will be done through one single access point: the vault. Trading will become more gas efficient. Pools will have full control over the underlying tokens they add to the vault. Balancer V2 will allow users to hold internal token balances that can be useful for high-frequency trader efficiency as ERC20 transactions will not be involved.
