​​Matic staking unbonding period has been reduced to 8-10 days. The unbonding period for staked MATIC tokens was previously at 888 checkpoints (18-21 days), and now it is reduced to 424 checkpoints (8-10 days). Earlier Matic has reported that 14.7% of the MATIC circulating supply locked in staking and current APR is around 67%.
At the moment users can delegate only to Matic Foundation nodes. Staking via external validators to follow in the next phases of mainnet rollout.
