The M.39 Libellula (from Libellulidae, a family of dragonflies) was a World War II experimental aircraft built by Miles Aircraft, designed to give the pilot the best view possible for landing on aircraft carriers.

The RAF preference was given to other aircrafts and the M.39 was terminated. While surviving the war, M.39 lasted only until 1948 when it was scrapped.
