Junior Analyst mktBI was founded in London in 2018 by a former partner in a large-cap Private Equity firm. The company uses algorithmic information retrieval to extract impactful insights from the overload of data available online. mktBI delivers user-friendly and interactive summary dashboards to support private market investors and business executives in their decision-making ☄️ What you will do: - Control data input coming from the company’s interfaces and ensure the information is processed correctly. - Look for the information missing in the database and research required elements. - Monitor different companies’ news flows. - Leverage in-depth knowledge of specific economic sectors (e.g. valuations, key events, and players), and of specific European markets. - Compile lists of private companies in various sectors and maintain profiles of key investors, private equity, limited partners, venture capital, and family offices. ☄️ Requirements: - Ongoing/complete Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fields. You have a keen interest in Finance and in working with data. - Excellent English skills and ability to analyze business and financial content and perform research in at least one of the following additional languages: Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Swedish, Polish, Greek, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, or French. - Analytical skills - you can analyze, structure, and work with the financial data, and come up with conclusions based on the information you receive. You are expected to demonstrate financial statement awareness, and the ability to work with Excel spreadsheets, finance data, software tools, investment strategies, and valuation methods. - Ability to collect and critically assess vast amounts of information, in a time-boxed environment. - Self-reliance and the ability to make day-to-day work decisions on your own. - Proactivity and desire to help the company grow. - Organizing skills ☄️ What we offer: - Full-time or part-time employment, depending on the language that you speak.
