About the role: As a full stack engineer at CentiMeta, you will be building and owning certain backend services, infrastructure and data that power our core real estate trading products. You will gain a unique look into how the World real estate market and strengthen your financial-domain knowledge. We strive for a high standard of engineering quality while solving unique scalability challenges as we grow the platform. You will have a high impact at a relatively small company for our user base. In addition to development this individual will be responsible for owning and maturing the infrastructure, deployment pipeline, and testing as we expand on its feature set. In this role you will be: Write and maintain clean, tested, and well-documented code. Architect, build and maintain serverless backend on a modern cloud infrastructure, including reading third-party documentation and integrating with their APIs. Build, test, ship, and scale a customer-facing web application using React. Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application while scaling. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, to automate testing and deployments. We are looking for: Someone that believes in our mission with a positive mindset and understanding of the early-stage startup environment. 3+ years of development experience, including building functions in Python/FastAPI and integrating with third-party APIs. Experience in development on mainstream cloud platforms (e.g. DigitalOcean). Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES 6), HTML5 and CSS3, React JS (including react hooks) and experience in related tools like Redux, REST, GraphQL, RxJS, JSON, XML, Git. Experience developing web apps and internal dashboards that seamlessly integrate with serverless backend. Knowledge and experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including advanced data management systems. In-depth understanding of modern application design principles and DevOps. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice To Haves: Experience using Kafka. Experience using containers, including Docker and Kubernetes. Experience leading a development team and collaborating with the founding team. Background in the consumer, finance, or security industries. Willingness to be involved in the hiring process, mentoring junior engineers, and setting high code quality standards.
