🇲🇽 Central Bank of Mexico will launch its CBDC by 2025 The Governor of Banco de Mexico (the country’s central bank) informed that Mexico will have its CBDC in full circulation within the next 3 years, i.e., 2025. The CBDC will enable greater financial inclusion for citizens while expanding existing payment options. They also expect to deploy new automation mechanisms to speed up payment processes.
