📚 Ballyhoo, noun. 🔉 /ˌbalɪˈhuː/ 🇬🇧 ❓ Definition (informal • mass noun): Extravagant publicity or fuss. ❗️ Examples: 1. After all the ballyhoo, the film was a flop. 2. The ballyhoo with which the film has been received has to be attributed, at least in part, to the impoverishment of field from which it springs. 3.
